The type of Canditates The [Macon] Telegraph prefers

Thursday, August 25, 2011

Yesterday we noted the following. We have gone back and looked at some of the facts in the situation pertaining to Bill Clinton and Al Gore. All of this information was available to The [Macon] Telegraph when they endorsed Al Gore for president.

Yesterday we were talking about Immelt and Obama and their love affair with China. Well maybe it is more than national security involved here.

The following two paragraphs are from yesterday, which shows how close Immelt and Obama, are to China.

That isn’t all. On August 22nd an article in the Washington Post by Howard Schneider, tells us “GE ‘all in’ on aviation deal with China” The article informs us that a “General Electric flight simulator” which shows a pilot. “…  a vivid picture of nearby mountains precise enough to allow a plane to take off or land despite the conditions.” The article calls it a  “‘synthetic vision’ system” and tells us it is “essential to the United States’ economic future”.

This is a must read and looks as if there are national security implications involved. But then that did not matter to Bill Clinton and Al Gore!

Now we should look at a few documented facts about the Clinton Administration and China. There are two very good books on this subject. One is “Year of the Rat – How Bill Clinton compromised U.S. Security for Chinese Cash” by Edward Timperlake and William C. Triplett II.”  The other is “Betrayal – How the Clinton Administration Undermined American Security” by Bill Gertz.

Besides Clinton and Gore, there were two more players in this sell out of the people of this great country.

On page four of “Betrayal” Gertz tells us that:

“Two such companies are Loral Space & Communications. Ltd., and Hughes Electronics, both the subject of a federal investigation to determine how they passed embargoed militarily-useful rocket technology to Beijing without licenses. At the time of the weapons technology transfers, Loral was headed by Bernard Schwartz, who has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to Clinton and the Democratic Party. Hughes was headed by C. Mkichael Armstrong, who was named head of the influential President’s
Export Council after lobbying vigorously – and successfully – for the easing of U.S. national security export controls. Shortly after the ‘decontrols’ took place, American supercomputers began showing up in both Chinese and Russian nuclear weapons development centers – helping to build nuclear arms that might one day be turned against the United States.”
Obama appointed Jeff Immelt as the head of the "President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness." Clinton appointed C. Mkichael Armstrong, head of the influential President’s “Export Council.” It is evident everyone involved has dollar signs in their eyes. Will this be a repeat of what we saw during the Clinton and Gore administration?

It looks as if we already have a start with the “General Electric flight simulator” because this sure as hell has National Security applications.

Loral and Huges soon went on to bigger and better things. On page 84 of his book Gertz tells us that:

“In April 1998 Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, a California Republican, disclosed Alarming information about how U.S. aerospace companies had helped China improve its strategic nuclear missiles as part of a major ICBM modernization effort.”

Rohrabacher is quoted as saying: “This has given what anyone has to admit is at least a potential enemy of the United States, a better ability to deliver nuclear warheads to our country, to American cities, to incinerate millions of our people.”
Gertz notes that  "…Bernard Schwartz, had been a major contributor to the Democratic Party, giving some $1.1 million to Democrats and President Clinton between 1992 and 1998.”

It was known that the Chinese had a problem with its Long March missile. On page 85 we are told that “After the Long March rocket explosion, a team of scientists from Hughes and Loral was formed to find out what happened.” And “It not only helped the Chinese company improve its commercial space launchers but also helped make China’s nuclear-tipped missiles more reliable as ICBMs.”

In the book “Year of the Rat” on page 172 we are told that “Finally, after the Loral-Hughes fixes, the Chinese launch program now has a perfect record for reliability."

There was no end to the National Security problems during the Clinton and Gore administration. We are told by Gertz on page 88 the “The espionage was also kept secret because of the ongoing investigations into Democratic Party fundraising, which showed that extensive funds from the Chinese government were funneled into President Clinton'’ 1996 reelection campaign."

Our technology was helping the Chinese and the money kept rolling in for Clinton and Gore.

On page 173 Timperlake and Triplett II tell us that;
“Everyone got what he wanted. Bernie wrote a lot of checks. His personal contributions rose to an amazing $586,000 in the Clinton-Gore reelection cycle of 1995-1996. As of May 1998 Schwartz had contributed $421,000 to the Democrats’ 1997-1998 campaign cycles. That makes him the number one contributor to the Democrats in both the 1995-1996 and 1997-1998 campaign cycles. Between 1992 and 1998 he has given the Democratic Party $1,131,000. His family, his companies, and his executives have given another $881, 565 to Democratic candidates. Finally, he has contributed $217,000 to the Democratic Leadership Conference, a Clinton-associated think tank. Grand total: More than $2.2 million to the Clinton Gore Ticket, Democratic candidates, and Democratic causes.”

When you read about “the Pentagon’s annual report to Congress” where “China made impressive gains last year in its military buildup that pushed the Communist Party-controlled People’s Liberation Army closer to matching modern militaries…” remember to send Clinton and Gore a thank you note.

You may also want to remember people like Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall and Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson who spent long hours defending Clinton and Gore while they sold out this Great Country!

Have a nice day.
