These two situations define The [Macon] Telegraph and their bigotry!

There has not been a more clear indication of the bigotry and dishonesty of The Telegraph and other so-called main stream media than their coverage of the weapons and explosives in Iraq (Bush 2004) and Libya. (Obama 2011)

We do not know how many remember the “explosives” controversy that seemed to peak during the last part of October 2004. The so-called main stream media dumped everything they could find on Bush. Anything that they thought would help Kerry the known traitor win the election. After all they endorsed him.

Of course back in 2004, Kerry had no difficulty in lapsing back into his anti U.S. troops mode! We know that back in 1971 according to Kerry the United States troops in Vietnam “…had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.”

This was Kerry the traitor’s testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 22, 1971. If this is not giving aid and comfort to the enemy, what is? You can see the testimony here and read it here.

For the record, according to the so-called historian Douglas Brinkley in his book “Tour of Duty” page 357, 2nd paragraph, Brinkley describes “An important turning point in Kerry’s life occurred in October 1969…” At this time Kerry the traitor  was still on active duty with the United States Navy and his treasonous activity began!  We should also note there is no statue of limitations on treason.

By any standard John Kerry is a traitor to the United States of America! Of course The Telegraph endorsed Kerry for President.

After a deviation, back to the “explosives” issue. As far as we know the controversy was never settled with any degree of reliability. Of course after the election the issue disappeared

The type of coverage provided on the explosives back in October 2004 follows. A Knight Ridder article by William Douglas and James Kuhnhenn which of course was run in The Telegraph. The article tells us that: “Paul Bremer the former top American civilian in Iraq, has publicly acknowledged that there weren’t enough U.S. troops in Iraq to secure the country’s huge ammunition dumps, guard its borders and restore order after Saddam Hussein’s regime fell.” There were no quotations in the original article, Bremer’s words was pieced together from several speeches given over a period of months. It only surfaced to any degree in October.

They went on to tell us that: “…360 tons of explosives that disappeared from an Iraqi weapons facility… forced him [Bush] to defend the handling of the Iraq war….”

We are told that “Kerry has aggressively used the missing explosives to attack Bush’s steward ship of the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism."  Kerry the traitor lashes out “Mr. President for the sake of our brave men and women in uniform, for the sake of those troops who are in danger, because of your wrong decisions, you owe America real answers about what happened – not just political attacks..” The traitor Kerry went on with “Our troops are doing a heroic job: the president, the commander in chief, is not doing his job.”

Quite a change from Kerry the traitor’s earlier depiction of the troops with his rapes, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals etc., don’t you think so?

The article cites “news reports” and “Sen. Joseph Biden D-Del.” As sources!

The “US led invasion of Iraq” began on March 20, 2003, the weapons controversy surfaced on May 2003. The controversy did not hit the news in any big way until the month of October in the year 2004. This was just days before the election.

The Telegraph carried everything they could dig up on the “explosives” during the month of October 2004. They used anything, anything at all to denigrate Bush. From all appearances they were desperate.

According to “Sen. Joseph Biden D-Del.” There was “250,000 tons of munitions and explosives from Iraq are still missing.”

This is the same Biden who is now Vice President and is running around and telling people that:  “In Flint, Michigan, they cut their force in half; murder rates have doubled in the last year…Police departments, as I said, in some cases literally cut in half, like Camden, New Jersey, and Flint, Michigan. In many cities, the result has been -- and it's not unique -- murder rates are up, robberies are up, rapes are up…I said rape was up, three times in Flint. There are the numbers. Go look at the numbers.”

The Washington Post characterized this as “Biden’s absurd claims about rising rape and murder rates.”  Of course The Telegraph did not report this it would look bad on Obama, after all Biden was Obama choice for Vice-President.

Of course, according to Biden and Obama this is the Republican’s fault. This is all because of the Democratic controlled Senate, which will not approve this administrations so-called jobs bill

Then if we fast forward to Mar 19 2011 in an article titled “Libya: Military action begins” at WalesOnline.co.uk we are told that “Top officials from the US, Europe and the Arab world have announced immediate military action to protect civilians amid combat between Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi’s forces and rebel fighters.” Which you can see here.

Since that time Obama has assured the world that there would be “no boots on the ground in Libya”. Now Mummar al-Qaddifi is dead. The Telegraph takes it on their selves to credit Obama with a victory. Not one word about any boots on the ground to control “explosives”, weapons, yellowcake, shoulder fire missiles or WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction). For Obama it can be nothing but victory! That is found here.

Over the last several months the honest media has consistently questioned why this administration has no concern for “Libya’s Deadliest Not Yet Controlled” weapons.  This came from Fox News Channel. They tells us that: “No one can be sure who controls the Libyan government's weapons stockpiles, a stew of deadly chemicals, raw nuclear material and some 30,000 shoulder-fired rockets that officials fear could fall into terrorists' hands in the chaos of Muammar al-Qaddafi's downfall or afterward.”

We find out that there is a: “…stockpile of mustard gas and other chemicals, stored in corroding drums….” Plus “A cache of hundreds of tons of raw uranium yellowcake [that] is stored at a small nuclear facility east of the capital.”

There is the question whether “…NATO has enough people on the ground to make sure the material remains secured if Libyan security forces flee their posts.” Of course according to the Editorial Page Editor, Charles E. Richardson, whom we sometimes refer to as Low-Grade says the U.S. owns 60 percent of NATO. Therefore The [Macon] Telegraph can give victory to Obama.

We find out that “‘No one seems clear’ how many of the estimated 30,000 anti-aircraft rockets, and other stockpiles still remain….” And there is “…concerned about the security of some 11 metric tons of mustard gas.”

Also “…there are still some 500 to 900 metric tons of raw uranium yellowcake stored in drums at Libya’s lone nuclear reactor….”

We ask, have you heard anything about this from the so-called main stream media?

The Telegraph has ignored it along with other things. Other things like “Fast and Furious”, the "House Hearings," the death of "Federal Agents." Then there is “Solyndra”, “Lightsquare” and other Obama scandals. There are also the Attorney General’s "lies to congress" and the White House’s pressure on General Shelton to change his testimony on National Security matters.

They will cover for Obama at all cost. If it means being dishonest with and misinforming the people of middle Georgia about things that may be detrimental to Obama, so be it. They endorsed him and now they have to cover for him.

You can see a couple of the stories on Libya right here and here.
