It has only been about five months ago, May 15th, since George McCanless wrote his editorial, “Home delivery to stop outside of core counties”. See it here.
It is clear to reasonable people what The Telegraph is doing and what they are doing to their circulation. Then they have the gall to call what they do community service.
You can see the commitment President and Publisher George McCanless made right here in his “Our commitment, our purpose are undimmed”.
The people of middle Georgia will support an honest newspaper. They will not support bigotry and dishonesty in any form.
Let us take a look at what we mean. As recently as September 29, 2011 on The Telegraph’s so-called News Talk Central, Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson was calling George W. Bush a liar over the “16 words” in the State of the Union Speech. This was about the uranium and Niger. Any reasonable person that has the facts would be hard pressed to label Bush a liar for this. You can see what we had to say about this right here.
On the other hand any lie told by Bill Clinton, The Telegraph would swear by. It is a documented fact Obama and his administration has told more lies than any one since the Nixon administration. I challenge anyone to go back and check, see if you can find one instance where The Telegraph has pointed this out to the people of middle Georgia. Indeed they have covered for him.
The Telegraph has failed to cover the scandals of the Obama administration.
Now Obama is pushing his so-called “jobs bill”. The Telegraph completely disregards the lies Obama is telling about this bill. If you go to “The [Macon] Telegraph is not going to provide the people of middle Georgia with the news they need!” located here. You can see what we mean.
They took an AP article and used it to label GOP killers. Now that the “Senate GOP unveils competing jobs plan”, they relegate it to the “In Brief” section of the pager and assign it to “competing status” and devote 91 words to it. It is notable.
Reasonable people that pay attention to what The Telegraph is doing can very easily come to the conclusion that they simply do not care what happens to the country. Their failure to act responsibly and inform the people with useful and honest information is not beyond their capability. Therefore what they do has to be bigotry and/or their desire to cover up for this administration. What ever in our opinion they simply can not be trusted!
The Obama administration has decreed that the terms “jobs ‘saved or created’” will no longer be used. Now the catch all term is to be “jobs ‘supported.’”
We can look for The Telegraphs strict compliance with this. You can see more on it right here.
