As for as President and Publisher George McCanless’ “Unlike
other media, we tend to report on ourselves as vigorously as we do on others….”
We might note that Bill Knowles of wearepolitics posted What
The Bibb BOE Isn't Telling You on 04/29/2012. When Visiting Member Kenney Burgamy read it
on the morning program “News Talk Central”, when he got to the part about the “70,000
reasons” he skipped over it and turned to Editorial Page Editor Charles E.
Richardson and said “now you will want to read this” as can be seen in the
following video. We do know, no one has cleared this up and it is still
hanging. We can assure you this is not going away until there are some
definitive answers from The Telegraph.
It is a matter of record that the Washington Post and CBS are
on the government dole. So we have to ask why not The Telegraph? It is
indisputable that they are carrying water for the Obama Administration,
covering up for Attorney General Eric Holder and Obama’s Justice Department,
etc.
The Telegraph has down sized their home delivery area to “7
core counties”. This has happened in spite of the assurances of
President and Publisher George McCanless that “Our
commitment, our purpose are [sic] undimmed”. But then at the same
time McCanless assures us that: “Unlike other media, we tend to report on
ourselves as vigorously as we do on others….” This strains creditability since
there has been nothing from The Telegraph on the “70,000 reasons”. Perhaps The
Telegraph does not need as large of a circulation as it did!
We find in a report dated April 14, 2011 in an article by
Howard Rich titled “New
Media Catches Obama Bribing the Fourth Estate” it tells us that:
“Which brings us to the substance of Boyle’s article — the hundreds of thousands of dollars that The Post and CBS have received from the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP), an Obamacare slush fund that has arbitrarily doled out nearly $2 billion to select corporations, government pension funds and labor unions within the last year.”
Then there is the fact that George Soros has untold millions
of dollars circulating in the media world, you can read more about that here
and here. You are not going to read
about it in President and Publisher George McCanless’ The Telegraph. Knowing this you have to wonder if it is something
like the “third rate burglary” during the Nixon administration.
We know one of The Telegraph’s favorite columnist, Eugene
Robinson (Fifth paragraph) shows up in a report that the White
House uses to push their agenda.
“’Jim Rainey at the LA Times took a lot of our stuff,’ the staffer continued. ‘So did Joe Garofoli at the San Francisco Chronicle. We’ve pushed stories to Eugene Robinson and E.J. Dionne [at the Washington Post]. Brian Stelter at the New York Times was helpful’”.
As for The Telegraph’s carrying water for this
administration, we noticed in today’s paper that the “Pakistan
doctor who helped find bin laden” has been thrown under the bus by
the Obama administration. Of course the so-called media has gone all out to
cover it up or minimize it.
President and Publisher George McCanless and Executive
Editor Sherrie Marshall of The Telegraph have done their share. They devoted a
total of 112 words to this subject in a section no one pays any attention too.
The late Ron Woodgeard once told us in a phone conversation
they do this so if questioned they can say “we covered it.” It also serves as a
filler.
The Telegraph is still ignoring the 43 law suits filed
against the Obama administration by the Catholic
diocese. (Third video)
Have a nice day.
