It appears as if The Telegraph’s Policy is: A Scam a Day!

We have to ask; is this one of The Telegraph’s better scams? The Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall must be in line for at least a “lousy lunch” for this.

Let us go back to the United States debt-ceiling crisis of last year. One of the more notorious stories to come out of all that was Obama’s scam job about how he cannot guarantee Social Security checks will go out on August 3. The there was the Obama Threatens to Withhold Social Security Checks in Debt Ceiling Talks

Here we are told:  "the president said: ‘I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on Aug. 3 if we haven't resolved this issue. There may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it.’" (Italics added)

Of course that was what is known in less polite circles as a lie, but then that is nothing new for this administration. With all of the enablers like McClatchy Newspapers and their paper The Telegraph who beds down with AP to cover-up and carry the water for this administration they have nothing to fear.

The Telegraph and AP had their hands full covering up and carrying the water for this administration during these trying times.  But then if we fast forward to 09/12/11 we find an AP article Obama Jobs Plan: Social Security Advocates Worry Major Tax Cuts Would Drain Revenues by Alan Fram. It was noted at the bottom of the article that: Associated Press writers Stephen Ohlemacher and Jim Abrams contributed to this report.

This is about: “Cutting Social Security taxes is the keystone of Obama's $447 billion plan to create jobs and leave more cash in people's pockets, an effort by the president to bolster the ailing economy and his own 2012 re-election prospects.”

We find out: “Last year, Social Security's expenditures were $49 billion more than it collected in taxes, the first time it ran a deficit since 1983.”

But this was not important if further depleting the Social Security revenue would help re-elect Obama in 2012, so be it.

The article explains: “That $2.5 trillion, though, is not sitting in a government vault. The government has borrowed it, and it's one big component of the nation's $14.3 trillion federal debt...” and “…the government uses the trust fund cash to help pay for all its other programs.”

Then if we go to The Telegraph on June 2, 2011, we find in a “Special to The Telegraph” by Roger Young that: There is no real Social Security trust fund or lockbox.

In this piece Young points out that: “The, Court addressed this point by acknowledging that the Social Security tax is simply an income tax (a flat tax if you will) and the "employer contribution" is nothing more than a business excise tax based on payroll costs.”
Young goes on to explain that: “Therefore, neither the employers Social Security ‘contribution’ nor your personal Social Security ‘tax’ is ‘your’ money safely tucked away in a trust account awaiting your retirement. There are no personal Social Security ‘accounts’ and you have no constitutional ‘entitlement’ to any Social Security taxes or any other U.S. tax dollars!”

Then after this we find on the front page of The Telegraph one of the better scams by The Telegraph and AP since their “60 percent” scam. The “60 percent” scam was done to try to help Obama not inform the public. That poll was loaded to get the results they wanted. This was pointed out by Dick Morris and others. Morris made the case in his: Disregard the AP Poll.

We find an article by our old friend Stephen Ohlemacher of the AP titled Social Security surplus dwarfed by future deficit.
In the very first paragraph and sentence we are told: “As millions of baby boomers flood Social Security with applications for benefits, the program's $2.7 trillion surplus is starting to look small.” Then this is pointed out a second time for emphasis.

Of course all of these people failed to point this out in how Obama Payroll Tax Cuts Seen Undermining Social Security Support.
Folks, reasonable people know you cannot be honest when you are covering for and carrying the water of the dishonest.

We have already established that everyone involved here knows and have documented that there is no Social Security surplus. So we have to ask why are these people lying to the public?

No honest wire service, newspaper or people would do this. Why do they choose to turn their back on their neighborhood, their country and the people of this Great Nation?

It looks as if their deceit and dishonesty know no bounds; this is something an honest newspaper would never do.

Have a nice day
