The following is a copy of a letter to Becky Swan, a copy was also sent to George McCanless and Charles E. Richardson of McClatchy Newspapers' "The Telegraph". Charles E. Richardson The Editorial Page Editor refused his and it was returned. We sent it to McClatchy Corporate Headquarters in California, it was sent by certified mail so we know they received it.

When you first came on board we were not sure just what
your intentions would be. We think you
have made them crystal clear.
We had to wonder if the word about “free lunches” and
jobs for the family members of the media had gotten out. This can be seen at
the editorial titled: “In the pocket?” in The Telegraph
dated March 4, 2012, by George
McCanless and
What
The Bibb BOE Isn't Telling You
the second paragraph from the bottom as pointed out with the “…over 70,000
reasons…” By the way as you probably know Burgamy was kind enough to help cover
this up.
This “In the pocket”
has the appearance of heading things off at the pass. It could be construed as
a “dam it everyone out there get rid of the paper trail or the game is over”.
If you have been allowed to look at it this is Attorney General Eric Holder’s
problem. He left a paper trail and now from all appearance the likes of the
media’s Charles E. Richardson and George McCanless has to cover for him. Are
you in that category?
If you notice
McCanless’ concern is the “Code of Business Conduct and Business Ethics”, not
even a hint about Journalism Integrity, honor and morality. And we know
according to McCanless, Richardson had to sign it. Now everyone is supposed to
believe the “lousy lunch” was a mistake.
What makes
McCanless look like Looney Tunes is his: “To think you could ever have Charles
in your pocket, much less for the price of a lousy lunch, is ludicrous to those
who truly know him.” He was exactly right, as Bill Knowles of wearepolitics.com
revealed there was another “70.000 reasons” which has to be considered.
McCanless goes on
with “As I always counsel anyone who asks, when you have a situation that could
be a news story, the worst thing you can do is try to avoid it.” This is
hilarious Bill Knowles broke the “over 70,000 reasons” on 04/29/12 and from all
appearance The Telegraph’s President and Publisher George McCanless has been
hiding under his desk ever since. Not a peep, not a word. Maybe McCanless’ wife
needs a job also and he does not want to rock the boat. There is as much
evidence for this hypothesis as there were for all those “alleged accusations
and charges” against Herman Cain which The Telegraph took so much delight
in.
The problem is
some of the people in middle Georgia was following the Editorial Page Editor
Charles E. Richardson a long time before McCanless blessed the area with his
presence.
We also have to apologize for not
giving you and Frontier Broadcast Holdings the credit you deserve in promoting
the culture of violence in Macon and Bibb County. The visual aids you provide appears
to be essential as the type of people The Telegraph caters to have limited
ability to read print as indicated by the graduation rate in the public school
system of Bibb County.
Besides if it was not for Frontier Broadcast Holdings and
WGXA 24 TV’s willingness to join The Telegraph and promote the disingenuousness
and deceit in all things Obama we would not have the clips to demonstrate how
they promote this culture of violence.
We are talking about the numerous times The Telegraph’s
Editorial Page Editor goes on the air and eagerly describes for others what he
would do in such and such a situation. He has also described how he is invited
into the school system by the teachers and then threatens to kill the students.
We are told “I’m in at least one school generally every
week…” and according to Richardson in his words: “…first words out of my mouth
is I do not work for the school system and if you are not quiet I will kill
you.” Then there were the phone calls from Bruce, Shirley, Estee and others,
plus remarks about “draw [ing] back a nub”, etc. The average individual thinks
of this when he hears about eight people getting shot in Macon.
It’s as if he has to prove just how bad he is, perhaps it
is because when he had an opportunity to serve and defend his country he was
scared off because as he puts it “Too
many of the people I attended high school with had already returned from
Southeast Asia in body bags.” There were a lot of people who did serve which
fit in to this category, as the National Archives tells us there were 58,193
Combat Area Casualties for the period. Surely there is a better way to express
this than to threaten school children with death.
The fascinating thing is the entire county government, the
city of Macon, the school system and the media stand by while this is going on!
The thing that tipped your hand was the fiasco with
Burgamy. Please do not get us wrong, Burgamy is a grown man and has been around
the block before. At one time we thought he had a little moral integrity, but
when he decided to slither down into the sewer with The Telegraph it became
apparent that all of these individuals are of the same caliber, perhaps the
rest of the media in middle Georgia are in the same category.
Burgamy has been covering for Richardson ever since
Clinton and the blue dress era. That was back when Richardson was telling the people
of middle Georgia that the Secret Service could not testify against Clinton
because they took an oath of loyalty to him. His exact words were “They can’t
testify against him because they take an oath of loyalty to him.” Any third grade student with a decent
education knows anyone working for the United States Government that is
required to take an oath, takes an oath to the Constitution and not an individual.
The Telegraph’s penchant for deceit and bigotry has been
obvious for a long time, the individuals
at The Telegraph can deny it, they can lie about it or they can ignore it. But
the one thing they cannot do is change it; it is all a matter of public record
at the Washington Memorial Library.
All of this did not start with President and Publisher
George McCanless, it just got worse. If we look back we can see where the
problem is systemic and this system has provided Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall
and Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson with years of training.
The bigotry of The Telegraph is well known and dates back
to at least January of 2001 when it was documented by the late Ron Woodgeard
who at that time was the Editorial Page Editor of The Telegraph. We can say
with confidence it did not start with the now President and Publisher George
McCanless.
For instance five days after the Jennifer Flowers story
broke, The Telegraph lunged forward to join the circle that the media formed
around Clinton in order to protect him. The Telegraph with an editorial titled
“Can one sleazy story destroy Clinton Candidacy?” (Tuesday, January 28, 1992)
offered their best.
In the very first paragraph of the editorial The
Telegraph issued instructions to the people of middle Georgia (That was back
when they actually had a circulation in middle Georgia) on what they should do.
Their instructions were: “Let’s be very careful and very specific in judging
Gov. Bill Clinton, a leading Democratic presidential candidate in trouble with
his past.”
In the second paragraph they absolve him of all
responsibility as they explain Clinton’s “…problem stems from allegations in a
sleazy super market tabloid that pays big money for its muck.”
The have never explained the difference between “…a
sleazy super market tabloid that pays big money for its muck.” and a so-called
newspaper that charges “…money for its muck.”
Then if we fast forward to August 2003, The Telegraph is
telling the people of middle Georgia that all that happened was: “Clinton lied
about having an illicit sexual affair with a woman…” and “There
were insufficient Senate votes to convict him during an impeachment trial.”
Now if we advance to Oct. 31, 2011 when the Politico
issued the clarion call that something needed to be done about the Republican
Presidential Candidate Herman Cain, The Telegraph heard the call and rushed to
respond.
From that point until such time as they deemed the
hatchet job and character assassination complete, The Telegraph never
hesitated, not for an instance.
In spite of the fact that the names of the individuals
were known The Telegraph was one of the last to divulge this information. They
never, not once informed the people of middle Georgia about the questionable
background of the individuals making the “alleged accusations and charges”. The Telegraph did their part charging forward
until the hi-tech lynching was successful and the individual disappeared from
the scene. Never once, not the first
time did they offer any definitive proof that Herman Cain was guilty of
anything. We guess that is to be expected because not even The Telegraph can accomplish
a hi-tech lynching of the innocent with the truth.
Like Monica of the “blue dress” era as you proceed with
this dubious relationship, whatever happens you cannot say you were not aware of
the possible problems, you might say you have been informed.
Above all you have to be able to follow orders. You have
to be aware that The Telegraph’s Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson has declared that: Eric
Holder’s deceit and dishonesty, “Fast and Furious” the death of the federal
agents and Obama’s declaration of “Executive Privilege” is “not news”: it is
“all politics.”
The point is as The Telegraph’s President and Publisher
informed us in an e-mail when we questioned why The Telegraph was not covering
the news about Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Cal) and Charlie Rangel’s (D-NY) ethical
problems. We were told: In regards to Rep. Rangel, George McCanless the
President and Publisher of The Telegraph informed us that:
“He hasn’t been convicted of
anything --- yet.” And “…I trust
You have to remember The
Telegraph only applies this type of
privilege to Democrats.
To be fair to The Telegraph as hard as that may be they
did offer come coverage after the incident.
So we have to conclude the dishonesty and deceit of Obama
and his justice department is off limits in middle Georgia.
You have a nice day and we can assure you that you and Frontier
Broadcast Holdings in the future will get the credit you deserve in your
dealings with The Telegraph.
In the event you have any comments to make we will acknowledge
them. We will hold this letter for a period of five days and if we do not hear
from you we are going to make it available on the www – wide – wide – world of
the internet.
In The Telegraph’s endorsement of Obama we are told:
“When future historians explore the 2008 presidential elections at some future
time after the glow of the moment has worn dim, they will find several
history-making moments.”
We want something drifting around out there which may
cause the “historians” to dig deeper than the scams found in the media about
the era and cause them to note how it was twisted, distorted and the people were deceived by a press with a complete
disregard for journalistic integrity and morals. It should be noted that if the
media had any integrity and morals you would not be reading this.
If you are wondering why you are receiving this by
certified mail we want a record that it was delivered.
We are copying Richardson as he has been known to accuse
people of going around behind his back, not signing things, etc. As for McCanless
he says he doesn’t receive things or I don’t recall receiving it etc. With
certified mail we at least know it was delivered.
You can reach us at: wetrack@windstream.net or by mail at this return addressee.
The phone number is 1-478-304-8162.
We hope you enjoy you stay in the middle Georgia area.
Have a nice day.
