Apparently Obama has choose to ignore the world’s problems until such time as he finishes his vacation. Or maybe, as has been suggested he just does not know what to do. After all he did have problems with his own credit cards and other finances.
There are serious questions about his dealings with convicted felon Tony Rezko, however the media as a whole has played this down. There is a stark contrast between the way The Telegraph and the so-called main stream media handles Obama’s friends and the way they did, say, Charles (Bebe) Rebozo, a friend of Nixon’s.
The Telegraph and the so-called main stream media have made it a point to ignore the problems facing the country while Obama is on vacation. This is not what happened during vacations taken by the last administration.
In keeping with their previous history The Telegraph is taking this opportunity to lay their groundwork for the up coming elections. The way that has worked in the past is they select and publish so-called news stories, which appears harmless, but furthers their agenda. Along with this they omit anything that might make things look bad for the individual they intend to support. This is called deception by omission.
This is all so clear, just look back at the way they covered the last administration and the way they have covered for this one. One glaring example is their endorsement of Obama.
They endorsed him because of future historians, i.e.; “when future historians explore”: “several history-making moments.” Then there is “But what will be most striking to historians will be the resonance of the word ‘change,’”…
They assured us that “…Sen. Obama’s ideas are clearly superior…” and because “…McCain’s grip on 21st century realities is questionable.”
It looks as if in their opinion this has to be some of the most informative and compelling reasons for endorsing an individual since George Washington. You can see the entire thing here.
As Executive Editor, Sherrie Marshall tells us in her “To endorse candidates or not”, (February 7, 2010) they have the ability to do the following. They “can research candidates’ voting records, read archived stories about them, even tell readers whether candidates have been fiscally responsible by, say, avoiding bankruptcy or paying their taxes on time.” This is magnificent if they would only do it!
However after looking at their record you have to wonder if they are doing this so they will know what they need to hide or what they need to disclose. Is this the community service that President and Publisher George McCanless was talking about?
We remember how they researched Rep. Charles B. Rangel"s (D-N.Y.) record (and others) about how he was “paying” his “taxes on time.” And how they have completely avoided Maxine Waters’ problems. It could not be because she is a female black democrat, who has condemed the Tea Party to hell! In the words of the L.A. Times: “And as far as I'm concerned, the 'tea party' can go straight to hell." See that shining example of humanity right here.
The record shows that their research was a dismal failure in the case of the Clintons and Obama.
As for their research let’s look at a few things they failed to uncover, or if they uncovered them they then tried to cover them up.
“Obama’s relationship with the group ACORN” (Association of Community Organizations for Reform)
ACORN was and is under investigation in several states for criminal activity
Obama served as the lead attorney for ACORN.
According to Federal election records the Obama campaign paid ACORN subsidiary, Citizens Services Inc. $832,598, of which $80,000 went to ACORN. We can see that here.
“The FBI and Department of Justice opened an investigation. (Into ACORN) However, the Obama Justice Department, while noting that ACORN had engaged in ‘questionable hiring and training practices,’ closed down the investigation in March 2009, claiming ACORN broke no laws” (from Tom Fitton Judicial Watch)
Obama’s relationship with 1960’s radical William Ayers. Ayers hosted a coffee in 1995 for the purpose of introducing Obama to some local political players.
Obama’s dealings with convicted felon Tony Rezko
Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) documents shows that Ayers and Obama chaired two CAC operating bodies from 1995 to 2000.
Nancy Pelosi of California and how the CIA lied to her
Obama’s Chicago style politics “They bring a knife, I’ll Bring a gun.”
Sen. Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut and his ethics problems.
"Fast and Furious" – This is the gun running program of this administration. At the present the House is holding hearings about this.
The death of two federal agents and the fact that weapons from the above is linked to the death scene.
The Telegraph has omitted any coverage on the health care waivers and other shortcomings of that farce.
They have never reported how this administration need it’s own private army. Their candidate explained it so well in the following:
Thursday, August 27, 2009 - “THEN-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE BARACK OBAMA: We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
It looks as if The Telegraph is approaching the number one spot in Yellow Journalism as defined by Wikipedia.
"Yellow journalism or the yellow press is a type of journalism that presents little or no legitimate well-researched news and instead uses eye-catching headlines to sell more newspapers Techniques may include exaggerations of news events, scandal-mongering, or sensationalism. By extension 'Yellow Journalism' is used today as a pejorative to decry any journalism that treats news in an unprofessional or unethical fashion."
You can verify the definition here.
Have a nice day.
