This is one way The [Macon]Telegraph censors your news!

It must be hard work for The Telegraph President and Publisher and his staff to come up with a con every day they can pass off as genuine news. So-called news that a paper which purports to be the newspaper of middle Georgia can print and pass off as honest news.

Of course the staff has to be instrumental in what reasonable people might classify as a ruse. Apparently this is quite an operation and everything has to be coordinated between macon.com, the E-Telegraph, the print paper and the so-called News Talk Central. We should extend recognition to the staff, which is in part responsible for this.

The staff as listed on the masthead of The Telegraph is Executive Editor, Sherrie Marshall, Executive Page Editor Charles E. Richardson and Visiting Member, Kenny Burgamy.

On October 12, 2011 we find in large type, across the top of the first page of the newspaper “Jobs bill killed by Senate GOP”. This is interesting because the original wording coming from AP (Associated Press) was “GOP senators vote to defeat Obama’s jobs bill”. The question was why use defeat when we can make the GOP look like “Killers” This is a no brainier for bigots, the GOP must be portrayed as “Killers”.

Alas, the work has just begun. They now take the AP article by Andrew Taylor and Ben Feller titled “GOP senators vote to defeat Obama’s jobs bill” change the title to portray the Republicans as “Killers” and start pruning the rest of the article. And alas this is what they come up with and you can see it here.

They carefully select material from the 1,086-word article, which fits their purpose and they shrink it to a mere 408 words and send it to the press. Now they have something that is acceptable to them. The GOP has been portrayed as “Killers” and Obama’s absence in Washington while he attends to something much more important to him than jobs, his reelection, has been made acceptable.

The guile in the wording of the article can be noted in the second paragraph! As they put it “Forty-six Republicans joined with two Democrats…” to kill the bill. No way could it be “two Democrats joined with Forty-six Republicans” to kill the bill.

Several things, which would be of interest to anyone concerned with jobs, is either glossed over or completely ignored.

In The Telegraph’s version the spending is relegated to the fifth paragraph, glossed over and intertwined with “unemployed veterans” to make it more palatably. No amount is give. They do not want to remind the reader of Obama’s spending habits, the spending for which there are no returns.

In the original article we are told: “with $175 billion in new spending on roads, school repairs and other infrastructure, as well as unemployment assistance and help to local governments to avoid layoffs of teachers, firefighters and police officers.”

“Obama said that the plan — more than half the size of his 2009 economic stimulus measure — would be an insurance policy against a double-dip recession and that continued economic intervention was essential given slower-than-hoped job growth.”

What growth? If there has been growth why was it not reported?

The original article goes on to tell us that “there are 1.5 million fewer jobs [now] than when Obama’s 2009 economic package became law.”  The original article then asks: “Why on earth would you support an approach that we already know won’t work?’’

No where in either article, the original or the one concocted by The Telegraph is it noted that this is a spending bill and according to the Constitution all spending must originate in the United States House of Representatives. In the Constitution we find in Article I, Section 7, that “All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of representatives;”

Of course we are dealing with Democrats, The Telegraph and the AP. In the past they have shown that the Constitution does not apply to Democrats. Especially in matters of ethics, income tax and the rule of law, etc.  We only have to look at the tax cheats in this administration and the Congress to see this. One of the most notable tax cheats in the administration is the Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Franz Geithner. In The House we have Democratic representative Charles Rangel (D-NY). Then from the Senate we have the former senator Tom Daschle (D-SD). Of course this make then all common criminals. However that is no big deal for The Telegraph, AP and other Democrats.

As long as there has been “no trial” there is no need for coverage where the democrats are concerned according to The Telegraph’s President and Publisher George McCanless. Then there is the remark made by The Editorial Page Editor, Charles E. Richards about the common criminal and tax cheat Charlie Range. He explains when they have been there a long time, "sometimes they take privileges they shouldn't!"

For Democrats it is privileges, for others it is a crime. Is this or is it not bigotry?

It should also be noted that the breaking story yesterday about Iran and the assassination plots aimed at the Saudi ambassador was condensed to 175 words and placed in the Brief section of the paper. This story can not be given any play. After all it may lead back to Eric Holder, “Fast and Furious” and ultimately to Obama.
You can see that here.

The Telegraph have chosen to ignore the subpoenas Eric Holder has received. After all he failed to prosecute the Black Panther voter intimidation case. He is Obama’s man and he also has local connections.

They endorsed Obama, now they have to cover for him at all cost.

To date they still have not reported on Lightsquare and the congressional hearings. This is the case where General William Shelton, commander, U.S. Air Force Space Command was pressured to change his testimony in matters of National Security. You can see a story on that here.

This is the way we see it, if you disagree we would like to hear from you. You can contact us in the comment section or e-mail us at wetrack@windstream.net.

Have a nice day.
