Things The Telegraph Will Not Tell You!

As we approach November we should all take a serious look at where we are and where we are going. We do not have to be a genius to realize that our government is out of control. Personally we think both parties share in the responsibility for the state of things.

There is one thing we can say that is indisputable. For the last two decades the individuals we have sent to Congress and the Executive Branch have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that they are incapable and incompetent.

The country cannot survive borrowing almost 50 percent of what we spend. The popular figure we hear at the moment is 40 percent. The present and preceding administration have insured that for generations to come the children will not see a future like the one past generations have enjoyed.

Besides the incompetent and incapable people we send to Washington we have what we can only describe as the dishonest and incompetent people in the media. It seems as if their primary purpose is to represent special interest or perpetuate the bigotry which infects the vast majority of the information we receive.
We all see in the media, both print and broadcast, from Fox News Channel, CBS News, ABC, etc. all they strive for are ratings and the dollar. These people even pay individuals to misinform us; they call them “contributors”. Sometimes it is questionable as to whether anyone knows the truth and it just does not seem to matter.

They bring people on board and let them use talking points, etc. to push a point; there is no consideration at all as to where what they are saying is true. This is particularly true when it comes to party politics. This is true of both major parties. This is a disgrace.  There are times when there is a complete disregard for common sense and the Constitution which is supposed to be the supreme law of the land.

President George Washington was talking about party politics when in his “Farewell Address” he tells us:
“I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the state, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party, generally.”
He warns about changes in our form of government.  He tells us that:
“Towards the preservation of your government and the permanency of your present happy state, it is requisite not only that you steadily discountenance irregular oppositions to its acknowledged authority but also that you resist with care the spirit of innovation upon its principles, however specious the pretexts.”
 He talks about:
“One method of assault may be to effect in the forms of the Constitution alterations which will impair the energy of the system and thus undermine what cannot be directly overthrown.”
This is precisely what is happening with Obama’s so called health care the bailouts, etc. This is nothing more than alterations to the constitution “…Which will impair the energy of the system and thus undermine what cannot be directly overthrown.”

Two people who witnessed this up close and personal in the 30s and 40s were John T. Flynn and Senator Burton K. Wheeler. (D-Mt)

In March of 1937 when Franklin D. Roosevelt was pushing his dubious plan to pack the United Supreme Court for purely political purposes he gave a speech broadcast across the nation.

Senator Wheeler said of the speech:
“I had heard a good many demagogic speeches… but I thought this was the most demagogic I had ever heard, and it was coming from the President of the United States!”
Senator Wheeler replied to the speech, he tells us: “I warned in a radio address:”
“Create now a political Court to echo the ideas of the executive and you have created a weapon; a weapon which in the hands of another President could well be the instrument of destruction; a weapon that can cut down those guarantees of liberty written into your great doctrine by the blood of your forefathers and that can extinguish your right of liberty of speech, or thought, or action, or of religion; a weapon whose use is only dictated by the conscience of the wielder.” (Page 325 Senator Wheeler’s book “Yankee from the West”)
Senator Wheeler in congressional hearing went on to insure the defeat of this absurd plan.

Historian John T. Flynn in his book “The Roosevelt Myth” on page 292 also warns that:
“By means of the blank-check appropriations, the blank-check legislation and the government corporation, there is no power forbidden to the government by the Constitution which it cannot successfully seize. And if these techniques are permitted to continue the Constitution will be destroyed and our system of government changed utterly without a vote of the people or any amendment to the Constitution. Roosevelt, by his various hit or miss experiments all designed to get power into his hands, prepared a perfect blueprint for some future dictator of the modern school to usurp without very much difficulty all the powers he needs to operate a first-class despotism in America.”
Now that we look we can say: “I can see clearly now”.

Have a nice day.
