That is a true statement, but honor, honesty, morality and
integrity does “…directly or by implication…” dictate “…how to report the news….”
Maybe it is just beyond the
comprehension of the people at The Telegraph and the AP. (associated press).
What we have to remember is they cannot perform their hatchet jobs and
character assassination with the truth.
We should also remember these are the same people Mercer
President William D. Underwood has invited to teach future journalism students.
Reasonable people may reach the conclusion that Mercer University like the
people of Penn. State has no regard for honor and integrity when the “almighty
dollar” is involved. In the case of Mercer it seems to be grant money.
Now let us look at what the future journalism students at
Mercer will learn from The Telegraph.
Do you recall after the Republican National Convention when
The Telegraph and AP were trying to complete their hatchet job on the Rep. Paul
Ryan we were told that:
“…while Ryan’s well-delivered speech drew raves from many party activists, it contained several factual inaccuracies that threatened to contradict the Wisconsin congressman’s image as a self-professed truth teller.”
We have to take note that there was no supporting evidence,
quotes, etc. to support these accusations in the entire
article. What The Telegraph and AP did was reach back to the abominable
practices they used in their hatchet
job and character assassination on the Republican Presidential Candidate
Herman Cain.
Now we have the Democrat National Convention and we find
numerous things which would interest anyone with a concern for the future of
this Great Nation.
In their coverage of this event and the Democrats it is
evident The Telegraph and AP is reaching back and will use some of the techniques
they used as they formed a wall of protection around Bill Clinton. The
difference seems to be in this case instead of trying to spin things they are
just going to ignore them and pretend they have not happened.
First let us look at what Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall and
her crew chose for your consumption; of course this little scam had to meet the
approval of the President and Publisher George McCanless.
In their little flim-flam titled Democrats: Romney just ‘doesn’t get it’,
they want you to know they are for Obama “…despite high unemployment and
national economic distress.”
Then there was the “‘despite
incredible odds and united Republican opposition.’ He said 4.5 million jobs
have been created since the president took office.” This is dishonest and we
believe deliberately so.
If we look here we find an AP article titled SOME
OBAMA PROGRAMS EMBELLISHED BY DEMOCRATS. This article tells us that:
“While that figure has become a White House talking point, it's only part of the story. It's a cherry-picked number that refers just to private sector jobs created in the last 29 months, from the trough of the recession through July. Governments - especially state and local ones - have continued shedding jobs.”
“The economy lost 8.8 million jobs from the time employment peaked in January 2008 until it hit bottom in February 2010. Between then and this July - the most recent month for which there are figures - just 4 million jobs have been recovered. Never since World War II has the economy been so slow to recover all the jobs lost in a downturn.”
They talk about Senator Harry Reid who hides behind the
Constitution and the floor of the Senate to slander people. Of course Reid does
the “tax return” bit, the “lower tax rate" thing along with the "Swiss bank
accounts" and "Cayman Island tax shelter”.
Of course they brought out the “…take out bin Laden…” thing.
This is where a AP-GfK poll was loaded giving Obama a 60 percent rating. Of
course everyone knew the poll was loaded. That did not keep the scam artist at
The Telegraph from trying to shove it down everyone’s throat. You can see The
Telegraph’s part in the scam
here.
Now let us look at some other things The Telegraph does not
want you to know.
Above we pointed to the scam The Telegraph and AP was
pulling with the employment numbers. In that same piece titled: “Some
Obama programs embellished by democrats” we find that:
“Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius” is
telling the same old lie about “health insurance” and how “you can keep it”.
AP claims to be pointing out the lies of the HHSS Sebelius.
However this is AP. AP also claims to set us straight on Sebelius deceit about
the “Medicare guarantee”.
The article goes on to point out how Senate Majority leader
Harry Reid lied to the public and purports to give us the facts on that.
We find that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel lied about the auto
industry. He asserts that it was Obama who saves the industry. However AP tells
us: “But, actually, the auto bailout program was started by President Bush,
then extended and expanded by Obama.”
Both Senator Reid and former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland brings
up off shore accounts, Cayman Island tax shelters, etc.
AP tells us that:
“THE FACTS: These are references to a $3 million account that Mitt Romney held for several years in a bank in Switzerland and investment funds set up in the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean. A trustee handling Romney's blind trust said that the Swiss account was active from 2003 until it was closed in 2010. The trustee said the account had been opened for "diversification." Romney still has active investment funds based in the Caymans, Bermuda, Luxembourg, Ireland and other foreign sites.”
CNN also debunks the “4.5 million jobs” scam. It can be seen
at: CNN
Fact Check: About those 4.5 million jobs ... The funny thing about all this is we never heard anything
about the tax dodges and off shore accounts of the Democrats.
For example you can see something on this here: Swift Tax
Dodgers and Ted
Kennedy Is Unlikely Hero
Also while the
degenerate Senatorial Majority Leader, AP and The Telegraph are slamming an
honest man, the Senate Majority Leader is digging in for the long run to the
tune of “…a $5 billion solar farm and manufacturing plant in the southern
Nevada desert.”
Chances are you will
not see this in The Telegraph but you can see it at: RPT-FEATURE-U.S.
Senator Reid, son combine for China firm's desert plant.
Have a nice day.
