They have clearly demonstrated this in several ways. It
is almost as if they refuse to cover anything they cannot use for Black History
Month come February AP ran an article touching on why the black community
votes for Obama where several points are misleading but does address the
subject. In spite of all their rhetoric on race relations The Telegraph has
ignored it. You can see it here. DO
BLACK PEOPLE SUPPORT OBAMA BECAUSE HE'S
BLACK? It is almost as if The
Telegraph does not want to bust any bubbles in the black community.
The have ignored the fact that contrary to law the only
budget in the Obama Administration was passed by the Bush administration. It is
as if Obama thinks he is above the law and The Telegraph agrees with him. They
ignored his contempt of court citations in Federal Law Cases and his complete disregard
for the bankruptcy laws in the case of General Motors and Chrysler. They have
ignored how he took care of the unions and fed the nonunion employees to the wolves
so to speak. The article Chrysler and the
Rule of Law speaks to this. There are reams of material on what Obama
did to the non-unionized Delphi
retirees.
They have ignored his funneling money to his contributors
through his so called green energy programs. They have ignored the criminal act
of Eric Holder and United States Justice Department and how Obama declared “Executive
Privledge” to cover this up.
Now that the whole world knows how the Obama
Administration failed in their deceitful efforts to cover up this sordid affair
The Telegraph has abandoned all pretense of coverage approaching the election.
Yes sir if Obama wants to ignore the law he can depend on
The Telegraph to cover for him. The Telegraph has abandoned all pretence of
honest journalism in order to protect Obama.
As we can see in the following video about why the questionable
conduct of the Bibb County Board of Education and their School Superintendent is
accepted by The Telegraph we have to ask is this the standard they are applying
to the Obama Administration. That is make the black vote stronger.
When we compare how The Telegraph has covered Attorney General Eric Holder and Obama with the way they covered Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Bush we can clearly see their bigotry.
The following first appeared on May 13, 2012.
We can only feel that The Telegraph has consistently showed
a disregard for any journalistic integrity, what so ever.
The Telegraph which is owned by McClatchy Newspapers and employees Sherrie Marshall as the executive editor continues to amaze us. From what we have seen the last few years we could conclude that the job of the executive editor is to scan the wires and other sources in order to determine what they need to do to cover-up and carry the water for Attorney General Eric Holder and the United States Justice Department. Such things as gun running, "Fast and Furious", the congressional hearings, Holders lies to congress and the congressional hearings are not to be mentioned at any cost. The extent of the news about the Justice Department is limited to Eric Holder's local connections. We feel that these are things any honest newspaper would cover.
This is quite different from what Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall and the Telegraph did during the last administration when George Bush fired 6 Federal prosecutors.
In their tireless effort they left no stone unturned in order to locate and print anything they could find which would denigrate Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and his justice department. The following images depict a small part and are a limited example of how disparaging The Telegraph was.

As far as we can determine they never ran an article pointing out what The Bush Administration did was legal and the fact that Attorney General Gonzales had done nothing illegal. Their bigoted goal was to join the pack and run Attorney General Gonzales out of office. History shows that what could be considered deceit and dishonesty succeeded, Attorney General Gonzales resigned.
The media in a shameless manner continued to hammer away at the former Attorney General to no avail. Then according to the wikipedia web site a July 2009 Department of Justice report from "The Inspector General did not recommend criminal charges against Gonzales. To the contrary, the Inspector General found no criminal wrongdoing and no perjury."
A search of The Telegraph for the month of July 2009 for information on a Department of Justice Report disclosed nothing; The Telegraph did not have the common decency to report this fact.
We came to the conclusion a long time ago that these people are not journalist. They are like the Ku Klux Klan of the past they do the dastardly work of the Democratic Party and never look back. We do not make this claim lightly and base it on recorded history.
Historian Eric Foner observed:
"In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired restoration of white supremacy. Its purposes were political, but political in the broadest sense, for it sought to affect power relations, both public and private, throughout Southern society. It aimed to reverse the interlocking changes sweeping over the South during Reconstruction: to destroy the Republican Party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life."
It is things like this which convince us that in spite of
The Telegraph's claim to be "middle Georgia's newspaper" they
are not going to provide you with the truth and the news you will need to make
an honest decision going into the November election.
Then there are other insignificant things like The Telegraph dropping the reference to the First Amendment from the masthead, their preference for a replacement was jokes from the late night TV shows. You can see it the last time it appeared on March 5, 2009.
The other thing we have noticed they use to carry on the masthead a note "To Our Readers" where they assured the readers that:
"The Telegraph is committed to fair, balanced and accurate reporting."
This appeared for the last time on April 06, 2009. Perhaps the fact that this happened during the time frame when Obama was getting his feet on the ground is only a coincidence or maybe in a small way someone had an attack of guilt and realized just how untrue it was. We know this is difficult to believe about the staff at The Telegraph, but maybe we should consider it.
