On the morning of September 21, 2011 on News Talk Central, the morning talk show sponsored by The Telegraph, which is aired on Fox 24 WGXA in Macon, Georgia, we find the following. (The Telegraph prefers the term “Powered by The Telegraph”)
The dominating news for the last couple of days has been a prank at one of the Fire Stations in Bibb County, which wound up on You Tube. It involved a gun, hostage situation etc.
Then their was the ethics violation of one of Eric Erickson’s former colleagues on the city council of Macon, Georgia and of course the subject of the execution of Davis by the state of Georgia was a hot topic.
Eric Erickson of RedState.com fame called in. The discussion was about Georgia’s execution of Davis and the so-called ethics violation of one of his former colleagues. The complaint against councilwoman Elaine Lucas was dismissed.
As Erickson was preparing to hang-up, The Telegraph’s Visiting Member and ex-banker Kenny Burgamy who we sometimes refer to as the enabler raised the question of “Operation Gun Walker” and says “…nobody really seems to be paying attention to that except you and CBS news….” The part about who was “paying attention” caught us by surprise and really it shouldn’t have.
We were under the impression that the only ones ignoring this scandal was “The Telegraph” and “News Talk Central.”
Surely this scandal is not being ignored because of the Visiting Member, Kenny Burgamy’s feeling for Obama.
On Monday Morning July 25, 2011 Burgamy described Obama as “A family man with great morals and integrity, a great example.”
Therefore if this is so it may be hard for President and Publisher George McCanless and his staff which consist of Executive Editor, Sherrie Marshall, Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson and of course the visiting member who shares the Masthead with them to believe that their man Obama could be involved in such scandals.
However, the Visiting Member seems to be wrong about who is paying attention. The following is what we found which we will forward to Mr. Burgamy.
