Well we find that Obama is prepared to stake his political future on “class-warfare” with a liberal amount of deceit and dishonesty. The Telegraph, which is owned by McClatchy newspapers, seem to be more than willing to cover for him.
The President and Publisher of The Telegraph, George McCanless and his staff prove almost daily just how far they are willing to go to cover for the man they endorsed to lead this country. It looks like they will cover for him until the paper folds. Today September 20, 2011 they took an AP article by Jim Kuhnhenn, which in its totality was 1317 words and chopped it to 227 words. They cut the title and printed it. You can see what they printed here.
Of course when The Telegraphs does this, if they would note it, where people knew it was their version, we would not see anything wrong with it. However when they chose to leave the impression that this is the article in its entirety, that smacks of deceit. That for The Telegraph is not surprising.
Was there anything in the rest of the article they did not want you to see. We do not know but you can check. The entire article is located here for anyone who wants to see it.
We do know a great deal of what Obama is telling the people is not true. It is inconceivable that The Telegraph can act like they do not know this.
Maybe they did, AP knew about it. It would appear that The Telegraph did not want the people of middle Georgia to know about it. After all they endorsed Obama and reasonable people could conclude he is on a mission to destroy the economy of this Great Country. Now it looks as if they must cover for him.
Look at the material they used and then look at what was available to them, then reach your own decision.
Obama in his class warfare crusade has used the “Buffet Secretary taxed more than Buffet”, he has used it ad nauseam. The Telegraph has repeated it shamelessly.
They had to know that information about this was available from AP, which they use as a fair weather friend. The AP article titled “Fact Check: Are rich taxed less than secretaries?” is available right here.
Then there is the boldfaced lie that it is “all paid for” which Obama is so fond of saying. We have heard that from day one. It is like the lie that he told about cutting the deficit in half. We find that story by Mike Allen posted on 2/22/09 on Politico.
Mike tells us that; “President Obama will announce Monday that he plans to cut the nation’s projected annual deficit in half by the end of his first term, a senior administration official said Saturday.” You can see the entire story right here.
You can see AP’s “Fact Check: Obama’s jobs plan paid for? Seems not”
This is not going to get better. The closer we get to the election the worse it will be.
