Charles E. Richardson thoughts, November 15, 2005.

A note was added to the bottom of this post about some of the content on March 12, 2012.

The following is what the Executive Page Editor, Charles E. Richardson was dwelling on back on November 15, 2005. Richardson’s bigotry came through like a bright light when he wrote, “Have we been duped?”

Richards starts with the Valerie Plame debacle and how it “…may give us a peek into a White House that has been consumed by image and spin, coupled with what seems to be a low regard for the truth.”

This is quite different from his attitude towards the present White House. Richardson and The Telegraph have completely ignored anything, which may reflect badly on this administration. Such as Obamas “They bring a knife we will bring a gun”! The “30 and 50 thousand dollar leg amputations” and the removal of the “children’s tonsils.”

Other things they have ignored are the scandals like “Fast and Furious”, Solyndra” and “Lightsquare” where the White House pressured an Air Force General to change his testimony on something which pertained to National Security.

All of the above has been completely ignored by Richardson and it is for sure no letters on these subjects are going to get through to the editorial page about them. It is also notable there have been no phone calls, which got through on the morning talk program News Talk Central.

Richardson then rambles on about the “…aspects of invading Iraq…" and tells us it “…has been wrong, clouded by the blurry vision created by an unspoken agenda that may have been built on lies.” This sounds a great deal like this administrations stimulus plan, there has not been one word about this monstrosity and the failure which has cost the taxpayers close to a trillion dollars. Obama’s stimulus plan has left unemployment at about 20 percent. Everyone knows the 9.1 percent unemployment figure is dishonest.

James Freeman tells us in his article “The Exasperation of the Democratic Billionaire” dated October 15, 2011 about his interview with Mort Zuckerman.

We are told that “Real-estate and newspaper mogul Mortimer Zuckerman voted for Obama but began seeing trouble as soon as the stimulus went into the pockets of municipal unions”

Zuckerman tell us: “Among business executives who supported Barack Obama in 2008, he says, ‘there is enormously widespread anxiety over the political leadership of the country.’ Mr. Zuckerman reports that among Democrats, ‘The sense is that the policies of this government have failed…. What they say about [Mr. Obama] when he’s not in the room, so to speak, is astonishing.’”

On the unemployment “Mr. Zuckerman says that when you also consider the labor-force participation rate and the so-called ‘birth-death series’ that measures business starts and failures, the real U.S. unemployment rate is now 20%. His voice rising with equal parts anger and sadness, he exclaims, ‘That’s not America!’”

Richardson goes on about Bush’s landing on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln and the banner “Mission Accomplished”. Which The Telegraph run into the ground. No one ever considered the fact that the ship was on their way home and this might be in the tradition of the World War II submarines in the Pacific. The submarines tied a broom to their mast when they had made a clean sweep.

But then you would never expect a potential draft dodger to know this. We say this because back when everyone of Richardson’s caliber was taking note of the fact that Clinton was a draft dodger, Richardson was telling the story of how he “was not going” etc. How he watched “his lottery number” like a hawk. He later changed the story to his mother would not sign for him because he was 17 years old. We heard the first story back during the Clinton “blue dress era”. The 17-year-old story he told during the Christmas holidays of 2010

Then we are exposed to Richardson rhetoric on “…the fabricated tale of Pfc. Jessica lynch…” and her rescue. The media fabricated a large part of the story about Lynch. Richardson and The Telegraph took full advantage of it. He also points the finger at the army and brings up the Pat Tillman incident. Tillman had “…turned down a $3.6 million NFL contract to go to war.” Tillman was killed by friendly fire.

He then brings up “…Guantanamo and secret prisons….”  Then there is this: “At every turn the Bush administration has tried to control the images we see, but substance is finally winning out. We aren’t allowed to see the flag-draped caskets as they come home, but we know they exist.”

We know that this administration is still using “Guantanamo” and using the information obtained by the last administration and their use of the “secret prisons”. As for the “flag draped casket” that is still going on. But there has not been one word about this from Richardson and The Telegraph. The year 2010 was the most deadly year of the Afganistan war. Richardson and The Telegraph completely ignored this and the “flag draped caskets”. This has to be covered up for this administration.

Richardson is not to be deceived, he tells us that “I know we can’t leave Iraq, but I’m not going to fool myself into believing that our soldiers are dying to protect my freedom.” He felt this way because they were dying in the wrong country.  He tells us "I would have believed that if we had started preemptive war against Saudi Arabia, but not in Iraq.” This potential draft dodger wants to pick the wars, well lots of luck on that one.

Of course he has to bring up the Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers. But Richardson and The Telegraph has yet to point out the common criminals like the Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner in the Obama administration. They have completely ignored the radicals and other criminals Obama has associated with. They have ignored the help from a known criminal on Obamas house deal. The fact that he brought a self-confessed communist into his administration is also not news worthy.

In the last paragraph he brings up Libby again and refers to him as a “sacrificial lamb”

What was the purpose of this rhetoric? It was used to permit Richardson and The Telegraph to point the finger at George Bush. We are told “The fingers of responsibility for these missteps have flown in all directions, but eventually they have to point back at the White House.”

This is a part of what in our opinion makes these people dishonest and hypocrites. If they are going to cover for this administration at the cost of news coverage and information for the people of middle Georgia, the least they could do is be honest about it.

Note: Until now, March 8, 2012 Executive Page Editor Charles Richardson in his own words has “resisted writing to you” as he put it about what we had to say about his like of military service. The following is a verbatim copy of his reply! Richardson seems to think this is personal; I can assure him it is no more personal than his comments on the former president Bush’s military service or the cover up for the traitor and former presidential candidate John Kerry which they endorsed.

Richardson writes:

“Jimmy, I have resisted writing to you, I don't expect this note to change your mind about me. However, I will answer one of your oft used complaints about my lack of military service. Nothing about my history has been changed or altered.
I graduated from high school when I was 17. As you know, in order to join the military in 1969 you had to be 18 years of age or get your parent's permission. My mother did not grant her permission. I entered college and the draft lottery was in place. My number was 169. My plan, and what I've expressed publicly, is that if my number came up, I would JOIN the Air Force or the Navy. I did not want to be DRAFTED into the Army. Too many of the people I attended high school with had already returned from Southeast Asia in body bags. The draft didn't get close to calling my number and I remained in school.”
“You can make out of that what you will. That's your decision.”

The truth is we were not trying to make anything “out of that” but we feel his lack of military service is as pertinent as anyone else’s when he is going to comment on other peoples military service or like thereof, etc.
Say for instance George Bush’s military service. The Telegraph beat that to death and prior to that the made light of their man Bill Clinton’s draft dodging. The went on and in the opinion of reasonable people covered up to the best of their ability the treason of John Kerry and went on to endorse him for President of the United States.

Military Service is not a factor in the upcoming election other factors are and we are anxious to see just how low the staff of The Telegraph will sink as we approach November.

We will be watching and we will record it for anyone willing to look at it.
