According to the article he has met with the “Occupy Atlanta demonstrators” to issue instructions. You can see the article here.
It must be noted The Telegraph was careful not to mention the report by CBS about the rumors of a partnership with the nation of Islam. This report was dated November 4, 2011.
The report explains “In the days leading up to the Nov. 5 reoccupation effort, online reports have surfaced claiming that ‘Occupy Atlanta” has enlisted the help of the religiously charged and oft-controversial Nation of Islam.” You can see it here.
It was important that there was a few “U.S. military veterans…” which heeded “…the rallying cry of Occupy Wall Street…” crowd with their complaints that they “…can’t make a living now.” We guess this served to attract The Telegraph’s attention. It did not seem to occur to anyone that if they would spend their time looking for work instead of whining about a lack of work things might change. Apparently it never crossed anyone’s mind that these people may just be a few John Kerry want-to-bees. We are talking about the Kerry who spent 3 months in Vietnam returned and committed acts of treason. Then with Ex-president Jimmy Carter’s help went on to become a U.S. Senator. Like Kerry these so-called veterans do not seem to mind disgracing the uniform. See it here.
The Rev Jackson grabbed The Telegraph’s attentions again and sent a warm fuzzy feeling up their legs when he justified everything by declaring “…their efforts are an extension of the struggle he helped lead for civil rights in America.” There was nothing about the time he took off to father an illegitimate child and what some have called the extortion of money from corporations to aid his Rainbow/PUSH Coalition and insure he can live the luxurious lifestyle he has become accustom to. Again he makes sure they know they are suppose to aim their ire at “the banking community” and not “City Hall.” Check here.
The Telegraph’s choice of an article to cover the riots in Oakland, Calif. was titled “Protesters turn up intensity” and came from AP.
On November 3rd they touched on the fact that the crowd “…moved to disrupt the flow of goods at the nation’s fifth-busiest port.”
It seems that “Some had marched from the city’s downtown, while others had been bused to the port.” No clue as to whom paid for the buses and other stuff. It is a sound guess that this might lead to somewhere, which the so-called media does not want to go and it would insure The Telegraph would not use the article.
To soften the image a bit in the following paragraph the article jumps around from Philadelphia to Oakland and invokes veterans, parents and kids.
“Protesters were arrested as they held a sit-in at the headquarters of cable giant Comcast in Philadelphia. Military veterans marched in uniform in New York, angry at their dim job prospects. And parents and their kids, some in strollers, formed a “children’s brigade” to join the Oakland, Calif. rallies.”
After invoking the “Children’s brigade” to obtain sympathy, we are assured that although “Windows at two bank branches and a Whole Foods store were broken and graffiti was painted inside one of the banks…” we are told by “officials” that the protests were “…peaceful and orderly…” and “…no arrests had been made.”
Now if we look at what the L.A. Times had to tell us on November 3, 2011 in an article titled “Riot police fire projectiles, arrest dozens of Occupy Oakland protesters” we find a completely different story.
The L.A. Times points out that “Some demonstrators lit the Barricade aflame. Firefighters doused it. A police statement later said protesters had hurled rocks, explosives, bottles and flaming objects at officers.”
We have to ask why The Telegraph would chose an article that appears to minimize the damage and violence? Could it be because they endorsed Obama and Obama has indicated he supports these people.
We know such people as “Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani says responsibility for the Occupy Wall Street movement rests squarely on the shoulders of President Obama.” Is this the reason they try to smooth over the violence, drugs, condoms, etc? Maybe they just want you to think these people are the "fraternal twins" of the Tea Party! See what Giuliani has to say right here.
