It becomes more apparent every day!
Today is the first of June, if we look back one year this is what was going one. The Telegraph has not changed, not one bit. If anything they have gotten worse.
Back on June 12, 2011 they run what reasonable people may believe was another scam piece which we refer to as “the 60 percent scam.” This was front page and done with the AP (Associated Press). It was titled “Obama approval hits 60 percent after bin Laden killing”. The entire piece was based on a pseudo-poll. They then tried to convince people that it was a legitimate poll.
President and publisher George McCanless and the staff of The [Macon] Telegraph do not seem to have the ability to grasp the fact that what people want in a so-called Newspaper are just the facts and the truth. To reasonable people it appears as if their bigotry comes first. This is nothing new. See the late Ron Woodgeard’s “A not-so-fond farewell”. (The Telegraph Sunday, January 21, 2001.) Although Ron does not call it bigotry he points out all the symptoms.
Since the first article appeared in The Telegraph about the so-called debt limit, there has been nothing but bigotry and flim flam. It appears as if The Telegraph feels that because they endorsed the individual behind this they have to white wash and cover-up the incompetence and deceit coming out of this administration. The people sure as hell are not getting the truth.
Their so-called coverage for the most part started on Sunday, July 10, 2011 with two articles. Since then it has been nothing but rhetoric. They have omitted any meaningful coverage. The Telegraph has avoided any coverage, that may reflect badly on the democrats and this administration.
We are talking about Obama cutting things short and leaving the room. The AP described it this way! “AP sources: Obama ends talks brusquely, says 'Enough is enough' to end session”
It will be interesting to see how The Telegraph handles the talks on the dept limit. To date they have ignored it, just like they ignored Fast and Furious”
As far as we can determine in their attempt to white wash what comes out of this administration, there has been absolutely nothing news worthy. If they cannot twist it to their liking they simply ignore it.
On July 12, 2011 Obama tells the entire world that "I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven't resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it…" He was talking about Social Security checks.
Then we are informed that: Mr. Obama told Pelley "this is not just a matter of Social Security checks. These are veterans checks, these are folks on disability and their checks. There are about 70 million checks that go out."
For this administration to sink this low is unforgivable and for The Telegraph to ignore this demagoguery and follow their inclination to white wash things is disgusting.
We have said before, the people of middle Georgia need a newspaper, but they do not need one, which misinforms them in order to full-fill a bigoted agenda.
There is no way we can know the truth about the funds. However there are several reports by reputable sources which dispute Obama’s version. There are also numerous sources, which indicate Obama is doing this for political purposes. This has a lot of logic.
Anyone who has followed this administration knows there have been more deceit, dishonesty and lies that have come out of this administration than any administration since the Nixon years.

Here is a quote from Carl Roves’ column “Obama Owns the Debt-Ceiling Fiasco”, July 14, 2011. He tells us ‘It doesn't help that he's declared high-speed rail and even unspent stimulus funds as untouchable.’
He goes on to tell us that: “Congress passed public law 104-121. It put into law the Treasury’s authority to use Social Security trust funds to pay benefits and administration expenses in the event a debt ceiling is reached. This law would presumably give the administration the authority necessary to pay Social Security benefits even if the debt ceiling is not raised.”
Can President Obama keep paying Social Security benefits even if the debt ceiling is reached?
The information is out there we just have to look for it.
