If you recall Amy Leigh Womack pulled this same thing during
the 2010 midterm election. The Telegraph had gone in to their “must protect the
Obama Administration at all cost” mode.
Womack wrote an article for The Telegraph titled “Feds on call to ensure fairness at polls”
Womack assured everyone that:
“Federal prosecutors and FBI agents will be manning phone lines Tuesday to talk with voters who experience intimidation or other misconduct at the polls.”
The concern was that:
“'It’s important that people’s right to vote (is protected) and that they’re comfortable that their vote counts....”
The Telegraph had ignored the intimidation by the Black
Panthers at a polling place at a Philly
voting site and Womack made an attempt to dodge the subject. She was
aware of the problems at the U. S. Justice Department because in an answer to
an e-mail on November 2nd she informs us that: “I'm not sure I'm
familiar with which controversy you're talking about.” This was the last we
heard from her on the subject.
The story was well known as can be seen in the following
links: The following video was posted on “You Tube”.
On Thursday, July 15, 2010 the following story by Krissah
Thompson a Washington Post Staff Writer was found in the Washington Post. 2008
voter-intimidation case against New Black Panthers riles the right.
On September 14,
2010 another story by Jerry Markon was in the Post it was titled: Probe
in New Black Panther case.
On September 24
there was a story at foxnews.com titled: Voting Rights Official Calls Dismissal of
Black Panther Case a 'Travesty of Justice'.
We find on September
25, 2010 a follow up by Jerry Markon and Krissah Thompson titled: Bias
led to 'gutting' of New Black Panthers case, Justice official says
Now we have The Telegraph’s
S. Heather Duncan and The Telegraph laying it on thick again with their con on
the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). The Telegraph as with all other
things illustrating the incompetency and lawlessness of the Obama Administration
has ignored the problems with the EPA in the past.
Now with a little
soft-soap they trot something out and if anyone complains they can say we cover
the EPA!
Duncan is a joke, as
she begins this con she uses a broad stroke with a wide brush and trots out in
the very first paragraph. Here she assures us that the EPA is “Continuing its
tradition of issuing major new rules near the end of the year…” this
contradicts Federal Law, specifically the USC (United States Code); Title 5.
Government Organization and Employees; Part I-The Agencies Generally; Chapter
6-The analysis of Regulatory Functions. This can be seen at the Regulatory
Flexibility Act.
There is an
interesting article on the cnsnews.com web site by Craig Bannister, dated
November 1, 2012 titled: “Obama
Admin. Ignores Legal Deadline To Disclose Regulatory Plans, Economic Impact –
Again”. This article provides additional information and links.
Bannister tells us how:
"The Obama administration continues to play a game of regulatory hide-and-seek with the American people. Current law was designed to protect the public's right to know about rules and regulations being crafted behind the closed doors of the federal bureaucracy."
"Instead of providing the facts, the administration has obstructed the committee's search for answers. What is the president trying to hide? The American people deserve better than an imperial presidency that flouts the law and hides its regulatory ambitions."
Another article on the
freeenterprise.com web site by Sheldon Gilbert dated August 22, 2012 sheds more
information on why we feel safe when we call Duncan’s story a con.
The article
titled: Seven
strikes, you're out? EPA court defeats keep piling up show how the Obama and
The EPA are more than willing to ignore the law. There is also a link here to
The Wall Street Journal’s EPA
Smack-Down Number Six.
Then there is an article by Rusty Weiss, dated November 26, 2912 on
freedomworks.org web site titled: It's
Rather Transparent - The EPA is Hiding Something.
Weiss points out that in Barack Hussein Obama in 2008 told the world that:
"Let me say it as simply as I can: Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency."
As we all know this is one of the
many lies that Obama has told the world and something The Telegraph wants kept
under the covers.
The article points out that:
“'Because things look suspicious at the EPA, the House Science Committee is investigating the possibility that the agency has conducted business it doesn't want the public to see. On Friday, the committee delivered letters to the EPA and various agency inspectors general’ seeking to find out if ‘senior personnel have been conducting official business through secretive means such as aliases and private email accounts.’"
Weiss points out that:
“We've covered the seemingly mundane (ignoring records requests), to the juvenile (creating secret e-mail accounts), to the downright criminal (failing to release a regulatory agenda)."
And ask the question:
“Do any of these actions strike you as the actions of a 'transparent' administration?”
Duncan also ignored the fact that the EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson
will be leaving. She also omits the speculation that the reason is because of
the lawlessness of the EPA which as can be seen has merit.
Yes The Telegraph has a lot to cover-up and as noted by people
who are willing to look, that is what they are doing.
This is the reason we can say we have a clear conscience when we say we believe The
Telegraph like a great deal of the media make their living by deceit and
dishonesty.
Have a nice day.
