The Telegraph’s cover up of Benghazi.

It is obvious any honest newspaper would have done their level best to keep the people that buy their paper informed on what was happening and provide them with honest news they could use. This is especially critical with the upcoming election.

Instead they choose to scam the people, carry the water and cover up for the Obama Administration. It is not working.

On 9/11 the United States Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was attacked in an act of war. The Ambassador, two former Navy Seals and a Foreign Service Computer Tech were murdered, because of the incompetence of the United States State Department and the Obama Administration.

In middle Georgia the McClatchy owned newspaper, The Telegraph, began a campaign of misinformation and cover up for the Obama Administration.

Apparently this was orchestrated by President and Publisher George McCanless, Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall and Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson.

We have to remember that Editorial Page Editor Charles E. Richardson brags about how no one can “live rent free in my head” and has a record to prove it. We thank that the free lunches and the penchant to pedal influence for his wife’s employment provides evidence of this.

We have to wonder what they got for this scam!

We realize in the wink, wink contrition and cover up of Richardson’s activities by President and Publisher George McCanless he only mentions one “lousy lunch”. However we have to ask how many people have read about or know of anyone who has robbed only one seven-eleven store unless that is when they get caught?

McCanless has never to our knowledge addressed the subject of the "influence pedaling" and the job for Richardson’s wife.

The Telegraph is well qualified for this type of thing. They proved this with their sordid saga of The Telegraph and Bill Clinton.

They have also demonstrated their ability to provide the “Hi-tech lynching of Herman Cain”.

We can look back and see how The Telegraph has covered up other things for the Obama Administration; such as “gunrunning”: the death of 3 Federal Agents and murder of hundreds of Mexican Nationals with the guns. There was also Attorney General Eric Holders “Contempt of Congress” and Obama’s declaration of "Executive Privledge" to protect Holder and others for their criminal acts.

In fact reasonable people can reach the conclusion The Telegraph has covered up everything for the Obama Administration which might, as the Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall says, “give voters pause.”

This fiasco certainly qualifies. The attack was on the 9/11 and The Telegraph sat on things until 9/13. Perhaps they were waiting for word on which way they should go.

In the following days The Telegraph’s pathetic attempt to cover up what we now know (October 27, 2012) was a sentence of death to the Ambassador and three individuals and the destruction of the consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This borders on criminal. Certainly it is gross incompetence.

The Telegraph in order to push the Obama Administration cover up used references to the video, film etc. over and over and over, some 45 times. They continued to use it until it became obvious their scam was not working. The links are available below you can make up your own mind.

Sept. 13 – By the 13th it was well known the Obama Administration was blaming the entire fiasco on what has been called an anti-Islamic video”.

In The Telegraph’s first article on the fiasco the film is cited twice – …initially blamed on an anti-Islamic video – “… outrage over a movie mocking Islam’s Prophet....”

Of course this had to be linked to the death of “…Ambassador Chris Stevens, information manager Sean Smith and two other Americans who were not Identified.”

The video and/or movie was mentioned twice and linked to the deaths as can be seen at: Marines sent to Libya after attack. The Telegraph used an AP article by Osama Alfitory and Maggie Michael.

The article had a total of 311 words.

Sept. 14 – The Telegraph  in a 316 word article mentions the film for a total of three times: “…an anti-Islam film…” – “…using the film protest…” – “…Obscure film, ‘Innocence of Muslims….”

Of course it is linked to: Killed in the attack were U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, information management officer Sean Smith, private security guard Glen Doherty and one other American who has yet to be identified."

Sept. 15 – In a piece containing 514 words the film is mentioned 9 times: …denouncing a film…” – “…harassed over the movie…” – “…responsible for the film…” – “…the film…” – “…clip of the movie…” – “…clip of ‘Innocence of Muslims…’” – “…won’t let the film…” – “…anger over the film…” – “…denouncing the film….”

Of course it was linked to the people “…killed U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans.”

This is an AP article Egypt’s Coptic Christians anxious, anticipate trouble by Maggie Michael.

Sept. 15 – In an AP article titled: Violence breaks out during protests of film by Aya Batrawy and Lee Keath. Here we find: “…Fury over an anti-Islam film…” – “…anti-Muslim film…” – “…denouncing the obscure movie ‘Innocence of Muslims….’”

Of course this had to be linked to Obama; “…spoke at a somber ceremony paying tribute to four Americans – including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens killed earlier this week when the Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was stormed by militants….”

The 277 word article references the film twice and movie once for a total of three times

Sept. 16 – In a 314 word AP article by Aya Batrawyh and Lee Keath Al-Qaida calls for more attacks on U.S. we find; “…seeking to co-opt outrage over an anti-Muslim film…” – “…anger over the film…” – “…denounced the film…” – “…the movie amounts to a humiliating attack…” – “…counter the movie…” – “…the film came….”

Of course the article had to be linked to “…the four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, who were killed in an armed attack on the U.S. Consulate in the eastern Libyan city on Benghazi….”

The film or some reference was made some six times.

Sept. 17 – The Telegraph in 149 words in the “In Brief” section titled Pakistanis march on U.S. consulate because of anti-Islam film, we find: “…anti-Islam film…” – “…protests against the movie…” – “…The film…” – “…accountable for the film….”
The Telegraph works the reference to the “film” in 4 times.

Sept. 18 – In a 279 word AP article by Zeina Karam titled Pakistanis march on U.S. consulate because of anti-Islam film we find: “…campaign against an anti-Islam video…” – “…low budget video…” – “…over the video, ‘Innocence of Muslims…’” – “…denouncing an anti-Islam film…” in the caption to the picture with the article.

Of course this has to be linked to the “Four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, died amid a demonstration in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.”

The reference was made 4 times.

Sept. 19 – The Telegraph in the In Brief section with 142 words and no attributions again mentions: “…anger over an anti-Islam video…” – “…revenge for the film…” – “…fury over a film…” – “…violence linked to the film…” – “…riots over the film…”

There are 5 references to the film they again link it to “…U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans killed in a Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.”

This work of art can be seen at Militants claim Afghan attack is revenge for film.

Sept. 20 – There was no mention of this tragedy.

Sept. 21 – The Telegraph in an AP article by Robert Burns and Ben Feller titled Obama’s record in Muslim world: strides, setbacks there is only one reference to the movie. There is this “…anger across the Muslim world about a film” located in the caption to a picture. The article was 346 words and only mentioned the film in the caption of the picture.

Sept. 22 – There was a 546 word AP article by Maggie Michael titled Militia attack sparks backlash. It did not mention the “film”.

Sept. 23 – The Telegraph carries nothing about Benghazi

Sept. 24 – The Telegraph in their In Brief section carries a non-attributed piece with 192 words titled – Libya orders ‘illegitimate’ militias to disband – where they manage to work in  “…a movie that appeared aimed at harnessing popular anger…”

Of course The Telegraph linked it to "The assault on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, which left Ambassador Chris Stevens and three Americans dead...."

Sept. 25 – The Telegraph carries another article by AP’s Brian Murphy titled – Free speech ‘red lines’ feed Muslim rage. Here we find – “…Islamic outrage over a film…”“…permitting the Internet video…” – “…clip from the film “Innocence of Muslims…” and in the caption of a picture we find “…the outrage over a film…”
We find in this 357 word article a reference to the film four times.

Sept. 26 – The Telegraph in a Tribune Washington bureau by Kathleen Hennessey titled Obama defends Arab Spring strategy. This 268 word article used only one reference to “…anti-Islam movie…” with quotes from Obama’s U.N. speech.

Obama's speech to the U.N. General Assembly mentioned the word videos six times.

Sept. 27 – 28 - 29 - No report

Sept. 30 – Hundreds of Libyans hand over their weapons This is a 407 word AP article by Osama Alfitory, there is no mention of the film.

Oct. 1 - 2 - No report

Oct. 3 – The Telegraph with 119 words in the “In Brief” section with no attributions carries a piece titled White House widens special ops in North Africa. This smells to high heaven, we have seen no other reports anywhere that is similar to this. Maybe it is just a figment of Sherrie Marshall’s imagination. After all this entire scam job is getting out of hand.

There is no reference of the film here.

Oct. 4th through 9th there were no reports on Benghazi.

Oct. 10 – Again in the In Brief section which is not attributed to anyone we find 136 words linking “…an American-made video ridiculing Islam…” to “…after assailants killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans….”

The video is referenced one time.

Oct. 11 – Once again in the In Brief section which is not attributed to anyone we find 135 words but no reference to the video. That old song and dance is beginning to wear thin everyone in the world recognized that this was an effort to cover things up.

That is everyone except The Telegraph and now they are looking foolish and everyone knows they are carrying the water for the Obama Administration.

Oct. 12 – 13 – 14 – No report on Benghazi.
Oct. 15 – The Telegraph in an AP article by Anne Flaherty titled Senator alleges Libya cover-up with 292 words talk about Senator Graham (R-SC) and Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD).

Of course Cummings is amazed that: “This conspiracy stuff is kind of ridiculous to be honest with you, and I've been kind of surprised that they’ve gone to these lengths. But you know that’s what they do…”

No reference to the film is made.

Oct. 16 – The Telegraph in a 371 word AP article by Kimberly Dozier and Rukmini Callimachi does not mention the video, film, etc.
They do refer to the “Benghazi attack.”

It looks as if The Telegraph has realized how incompetent they are beginning to look, not that we think they care.

Oct. 17 – 18 – 19 – No report on Benghazi.

Oct. 20 – The Telegraph in a mere 201 words The Telegraph and Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall have managed to make complete fools of their self and give an indication of their agenda. It is as if Marshall realizes The Telegraph’s cover up is becoming unraveled. We find this in the “In Brief” section in a piece titled  Report suggests Obama knew Libya attack details. (scroll down)

She does manage to get in “But for days, the Obama administration blamed it on an out-of-control demonstration over an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.”

Then in a paragraph which clearly demonstrates how naive The Telegraph is Marshall tells us that:
“As a security matter, how the Obama administration immediately described the attack has little effect on broader counterterrorism strategies or on the hunt for those responsible for the incident, in which the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were killed. And Republicans have offered no explanation for why the president would want to conceal the nature of the attack.”
We have to wonder why The Telegraph thinks the “Republicans” owe any explanation as to why “…the president would want to conceal the nature of the attack.” Most people with average intelligence who know what is going on can answer this very clearly.

It is simply amazing that these people do not realize how this one paragraph demonstrates the utter bigotry of their agenda!

There is one reference to the video.

Oct. 21 – 22 – 23 – 24 – 25

Oct. 26 – The Telegraph in a 564 word article titled U.S. e-mails reveal early views of Libya attack by Eric Schmitt of the New York Times News Service is interesting for several reasons.
Anyone who follows The Telegraph knows they story shop to get what they want. Community service, honesty and integrity seem to have nothing to do with what they produce. If you have noticed all of the article here are from the AP. While not clearly attributed to the AP we would think this is where most of the material in the “In Brief” section comes from. There are strong indications that some of it is made up by The Telegraph, Sherrie Marshall and her crew. There is no better example of that than the last paragraph of the piece they ran on Oct. 20 located above.

It would appear  that the above article is used as there is no reference to the Obama Administration ignoring the pleas for help and issuing orders to the people asking for help to “stand down.”

From what we see The Telegraph has given up on pushing the Obama Administration cover up as their use of the above article indicates. We can say with a clear conscience that we have formed the opinion that these people are nothing more than scam artist. The Telegraph is a disgrace to the people of middle Georgia, the state and this Great Nation.

Again we can say with a clear conscience that they act like “a thief in the night” with their scams.

There is no reference to the film, video, movie, etc. in the article.

What The Telegraph has done is unforgivable. If we are wrong by all means let us hear from you.

Added Sunday December 2, 2012 - When looking back we have to admit that this is an improvement over the way the Telegraph handled: Fast and Furious - gunrunning - the death of the Federal agents - death of hundreds of Mexican Nationals and Attorney General Eric Holder's "Contempt of Congress". The Telegraph covered all this up as well as Obama's declaration of "Executive Privledge" to cover up the crimes at the Justice Department and protect Holder. It is clear as day and can be seen in the following video clips.

Have a nice day.
