Marshall tells the reader that “The Telegraph wants readers
to trust that on our news pages….” – This is so much rhetoric. In the last four
years The Telegraph has demonstrated time and time again that their primary
purpose is to carry the water for the Obama administration even if it means
misleading the people of middle Georgia.
One of the biggest scams is their cover up of the criminal
acts by Eric Holder and the United States Justice Department. They can deny it,
they can lie about it or they can ignore it, but the one thing they cannot do
is change it.
Let us look at how The Telegraph treated the gunrunning, the
death of the Federal Agents and the death of hundreds of Mexican Nationals due
to the Justice Department’s incompetence and criminal actions. We might note
that this is one of the things that should be included in what Marshall has
termed as things “we plan to do a lot of explaining” about. We would not take
this seriously as the chances of any explanation of this subject are slim to
none.
Here is how The Telegraph handled the subject!
This was something any honest newspaper would have covered.
As for the con that “local news” is The Telegraph’s “primary focus” we can look
back and note a list of things we see in The Telegraph on a daily basic which
has nothing to do with “local news”. We might also note it has nothing to do
with what is important to the people of middle Georgia and what is going on in
Washington.
When The Telegraph endorsed
Obama they talk about how “When historians explore the 2008 election at
some future time… they will find several history-making moments.”
This is absolutely right, but apparently The Telegraph does
not want these “historians” to find the “history-making moments” on the pages
of The Telegraph.
We have to point out that when the first Black President is
elected to the Office of President of the United States that is a history
making moment. When he appoints the first Black Attorney General in the history
of this Great Nation that is history. And yes when The Telegraph which promotes
the paper as “middle Georgia’s newspaper” refuses to cover it because it is “all
politics” that is also history and a scam. It does nothing but draw attention
to the bigotry of The Telegraph.
We can look at Some
of Sherrie Marshall's Best Efforts! for a comparison of how Attorney
General Holder and Attorney General Gonzales was handled by The Telegraph and then
the bigotry becomes obvious.
Marshall tells us “We try to print the top news” but as we
can see from the above this is absolutely not true and again it brings to mind
the description The Telegraph applied to “lawmakers" during the last
administration. If you recall they tell us that:
“However, it sort of makes the lawmakers who changed their votes look a little slimy, because everyone knows why they did it. They were like two-bit whores who bellied up to the taxpayers’ bar and declared, ‘I need to bring home the bacon. My no vote will turn into a yes vote once my palms get greasy with pork fat.’”
Marshall infers that The Telegraph’s goal is “to be balanced
and fair”, that my friend is utterly ridiculous as can be seen at The
Telegraph's "hi-tech" lynching of Herman Cain!
Marshall goes on to tell the reader “…I can promise that,
when you take issue with us, we will listen or let you have your say on our letters
pages.” This is incredible we have to wonder if she really thinks anyone who
keeps us with this will believe her? The Telegraph has come as close to
shutting down their “letters pages” as possible without actually doing so. We
personally know numerous people who in the past have tried to communicate their
disagreement and have been ignored by The Telegraph.
The fact that The Telegraph reached the point that they
would ignore any disagreement or letters which does not “adhere to their line”
has been obvious. We can assure everyone that is the very reason you are
reading this.
Yes we can say with a clear conscience that we think this is just
another con by The Telegraph.
It has become obvious that The Telegraph’s con also includes
the “local news”.
There are many people in the middle Georgia who think The
Telegraph is in bed with what appears to be a very corrupt Bibb County Board of
Education and their School Supt. It is awfully easy to reach the conclusion
that The Telegraph has been pedaling influence for the Bibb County Board of Education.
It is a fact that The Telegraph’s Editorial Page Editor has enjoyed
the benefits from this as can be seen at The
70,000 Reasons Certain Members Of The Media Are Biased.
That is also where we find in the seventeenth comment that:
“Charles and the whole ‘team’ at The Telegraph are not just in the pockets of top officials in the Bibb County Board of Education….”
We are also told by E Denise Caldron that she informs The Telegraph:
“I have compiled two copies of some of the more pertinent documents for both you and Ms. Marshall. I have also copies the 20-page official complaint now in the hands of SACS/COC. Their investigation is "active" according to Dr. Pamela Cravey.”
It is just beyond belief that the Editorial Page Editor
Charles E. Richardson is the only one that derives benefits from this. We have
to wonder why The Telegraph’s Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall would set on “pertinent
documents” pertaining to this.
We do not know what is going on at The Telegraph on the
local level, but we do know one thing any honest newspaper would address the
subject, clear it up and lay it to rest. To ignore it is to invite the perception
that it is true.
When The Telegraph’s Editorial Page Editor Charles E.
Richardson got caught dining off of the taxpayers’ dime courtesy of Bibb County
Board of Education’s School Superintendent the President and Publisher George
McCanless made a half-hearted attempt to put it to rest as can be seen at McCanless’
“In
the pocket”.
Then when it became obvious that Richardson was peddling influence
and his wife was hired by the Bibb County Board of Education as seen in the
above link, McCanless hid under his desk or something.
Any honest newspaper
would have addressed this and laid it to rest. But not a word was heard from
President and Publisher George McCanless.
Now The Telegraph’s Executive Editor Sherrie Marshall wants people to think they are concerned and are going “…to do a lot of explaining”.
That would be like Obama being truthful about his cover up of Benghazi!
You can see the time line of The Telegraph’s cover up of
the Benghazi fiasco at The
Telegraph’s cover up of Benghazi.
We might note that a lady called into The Telegraph's "News Talk Central" when it was on the air with a very apt description of Bibb County School Superintendent, Dr. Dallemand, perhaps she should have applied it to The Telegraph also.
You can decide if this applies to The Telegraph, we have already made our mind up.
Have a nice day.
